As the title states, the forums have been rebuilt from the ground up and unfortunately, that means all user accounts, posts, private messages, etc. from the old forums are no longer available. If you had an account on the old forums, simply create a new account and enjoy the many new features that are at your fingertips. The platform uses the same as the old forums, vBulletin, but with more enhancements and security for both the end-user and backend. Now, let's get down to the features that come with this update. Those features are: Ability to change your vote on polls Improved measures to block spam bot registrations and posts Listing for Team Members, sorted alphabetically by Chapter Modernized community design and feel Post 'Like' system (like/unlike posts) Team member application (not supplied except by Team Leaders) User tagging by using @forum_username in posts Website support through specific forum section and ticketing system I am looking at other features to implement to improve the overall quality of the end-user experience. After all, SunWorks has international recognition and our presence should reflect our core values both in person and online. Many of the premium features are add-ons and are not free so they will be added over time depending on the desire for the team to use them. Below are some of the improvements that I will look into adding soon. Articles system for event coverage and news Garage to showcase your builds with information and photographs Photo gallery/albums similar to Facebook If you come across any issues, concerns, suggestions or you have a question regarding the website, feel free to let us know at the following link: Click to access the 'Site Issues and Support' forums
Hey, Michael. Nice to meet you. I'm originally from Houston, but moved up to Philadelphia almost 2 years ago. I'm sure this should be a little higher in the political hierarchy, but I'm thinking instead of New York Chapter, it should just be Northeast Regional Chapter. I'm not sure how to contact the guys in New York, but I'm working on it. I guess I should contact Kimo directly.
Hey, I would suggest hitting up any of the chapter leaders to see what they think about a regional chapter up there. I'm not sure how many members, prospects and supporters are up in that area in general. Could be a good idea to come many of those states. Good idea!
